1987 HOBART ROYAL SHOW
JUDGE JACK GUNNING, EMU HOLES PHS

Keith McLauchlan's junior champion heifer, Valma Granites Princess 3, was pitted against his senior champion female, Valma Granites Corisande for the grand championship.
According to Judge Gunning, these Granite heifers rated along par with some of the best he had encountered in the business. " I gave it to the older heifer who was just over two years and on the point of calving. No doubt she will show up in years to come as a proven breeder and amass many more ribbons in the showring," he said.
